 Our free singing workshop was a great success!On Saturday 12th February 2011 from 3-6pm we held our first Youth Voisces workshop for 11-16 yearolds.
With some strong publicity in advance we were able to welcome some new faces to sing along with us and it was especially good to see the number of parent,s fiends and even our local beat PCSO's come along, to enjoy the workshop concert at the end of an intense and enjoyable three hours!

A terrific achievement in many ways and a huge amount of music learnt in a very short time! The four soloists were great (Jay, Sophie, Grace and Ben) and the musicians accompanying (George, Mark and Alison) really kept it all alive...and did a lot of preparation. Our thanks to Stuart for his exercises and especially for his conducting of the Rutter piece at very short notice! I'd like to thank Elizabeth and the other adults supporting us. Without their help the event would never have taken place.. and it was brilliant that it did! Well done to the singers - lovely to see some who were with us previously and especially came back...and some younger ones who wanted to take part."
