Sound system - Urgent Help Needed!Parents have come forward to assist in lots of ways, but we still need help with the sound system. Ben Maskell says: “This will include the transportation of the system,doing sound checks and operating the desk during the concert. Everyone will get a master class of using the equipment and also will have one to one during concert rehearsals, so I can see what they know.” Please let John know if you can help.

The Beckenham Junior Choir is for children aged 7 to 11, and of all musical abilities. We rehearse weekly in Beckenham Baptist Church Hall in Elm Road, Beckenham, (See a map here ) and we have a broad repertoire, from carols to cantatas, from musicals to modern classics, from folk songs to film themes. We have even sung the Golden Touch, about King Midas, which was composed for us, by a former member, James Olsen.

Spring Term 2012
The spring term is well underway now, and a very big welcome to our new members!
Please listen carefully to the songs on the CD you were all given at practice - sing along and learn the melodies and words.
On Wednesday, April 25th, Youth Voices will meet as usual, but the Junior Choir will be recording a CD of “Songs of London Town” and related poems. Full attendance, please!
Upcoming Concerts:
The next concert will be on Saturday, 19th May at 7.00p.m. at St. Luke’s Church, Woodside.
The summer finale will be the concert on Saturday, 7th July. at 7.00p.m. at Penge Congregational Church and will be held jointly with the Crystal Palace Band and other musicians.

You can advertise your business in a boxed advert on a year’s worth of concert programmes (usually five) for £100, i.e. £20 a time. Alternatively an advert on the choirs' website, linked to your own business or organisation's website can be placed for £100 for three terms. Please email if this of interest.
